The Lake Davidson Sprint Triathlon is on Sunday, September 7th on the Ingersoll Rand Campus in Davidson, NC. This venue has proven to be a memorable setting for triathletes, from beginners to seasoned veterans. The 500 yard swim is a closed loop in a protected cove in Lake Davidson. The 13 mile bike ride leaves the Ingersoll Rand campus to form a loop just north of Davidson with great police support at intersections. The run is a closed loop following the walking trails that surround the Ingersoll Rand campus and stays on the campus to create a safe and scenic venue.

Same Day Packet Pick Up : 6:00 am to 7:30am
* There will be no race day registration *
First Wave Start : 8:00am
Award Ceremony: Immediately after last finisher
General Event Information
This USAT sanctioned event is open to the general public as well as to employees and family members of participating corporations. It is fourth event of the Jimmie Johnson Wellness Challenge series, a multi-company wellness initiative to promote health and fitness through the sports of swimming, biking and running. The event can be done as an individual or as a relay team.
The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is proud to announce that event proceeds from the Wellness Challenge will support current Foundation programs.
In the event of inclement the following procedures will be followed: The event will be postponed until 8:45AM in hopes the inclement weather will pass. If inclement weather does not pass by 8:45AM , the event will be changed to a duathlon format. Every effort will be made to have this event on time on this date. Should this event be cancelled due to an Act of God or other circumstance beyond the race directors control there will be no refunds, credits, or transfers. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. By registering for this event you agree to this weather policy.
